In October 2007 Gail and I took an 8-month leave of absence from work, moved aboard our 35' sloop Alisios for 7 months, and took her down the Intracoastal Waterway over to the southern Bahamas and back. We returned safe and sound June 2008 and are now back in our jobs and working on our next adventures.
